The BIS program combines information technology, analytical techniques, business core knowledge, and a systems perspective for integrating and improving management information and insight within business processes, database management systems, decision-support systems and business analytics applications found in organizations today. The Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics (BIS) can be completed in-class and online.
Businesses across the globe depend heavily on advanced information systems for managing information and business operations competitively—this calls for information systems professionals to manage and improve an organization’s knowledge and capabilities in jobs such as: I.T. Project Manager, Business / Systems Analyst, Information Assurance Specialist, and Applications Programmer.
