This week's faculty spotlight is Chip Heath. He is our Director of Online Learning at Haile College of Business. Chip is being featured because of he embodies the value of innovation.
He is spearheading a new special topics class this fall on using AI in marketing. Chip already has a solid 43 students enrolled.
Chip is a Lecturer of Marketing, teaching courses like marketing principles and digital marketing, and leading the accelerated online program. He holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Illinois. Chip attended the Ph.D. program in Marketing at the University of Kentucky.
With extensive teaching experience, he has taught various marketing subjects at institutions such as the University of Kentucky, Northern Illinois University, Xavier University, and Eastern Kentucky University. Chip's research focuses on aesthetics and consumer behavior online, with publications in the Journal of Electronic Commerce Research and contributions to books on e-marketing and online consumer psychology. He frequently presents at major marketing conferences.
Outside of academia, Chip enjoys family time, playing and watching live music, learning Taekwondo with his teenager, and is an avid hockey fan.
